About craig

Craig Edhart’s musical journey began at age 10 when he first picked up a guitar, immediately falling for the raw energy of 90s rock giants like Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Tool. By 15, he’d joined his first original band, and at 16, he played his debut show during high school—kicking off what would become a decades-long love affair with live performance.

After a post-graduation stint as lead vocalist for Black Sabbath cover band Sixlane, Craig founded Rathburn, his original hard rock project where he served as singer, songwriter, and guitarist. The band toured Southern Ontario between 2010-2011, hitting iconic venues like Toronto’s Circus Room, Opera House, and Hard Luck Bar, plus the massive Downsview Park.

Following a break from the spotlight, Craig returned to performing in 2022 as bassist for pop-rocker Apricity, then launched solo acoustic sets around his hometown of Guelph in 2023—blending rock, folk, and pop with the same authenticity that’s defined his career. Never one to stay still, he formed 90s rock cover band Bodhi’s Escape in 2024 (handling lead vocals and rhythm guitar), and most recently joined hard prog rock outfit Taking Balfour as their bass player in 2025.

Through every chapter—from sweaty club shows to intimate coffeehouse performances—Craig’s remained grounded in what matters most: connecting with audiences through honest music, one song at a time. You’ll find him most weekends somewhere in Southern Ontario, still chasing that same electric feeling he discovered with his first guitar decades ago.
